This looks like a great project and perfect for some of my home automation projects. Of note, if I run the Python script directly it works fine - for example, if I go to the /var/I still get the expected output in my debug file - just all stops when it hits the tup. I have also included the pinNum in the output of my debug and it is getting the correct pin number (14, 15, 17, 18). Or at least output to my log files stops.

The problem seems to center on the line in all the Python scripts: However, I have not been able to work out a solution. I went into the php and python code and put debug statements between practically every line until I found the problem (I think ?). I too have tried this and have the same problem as many others. Fermentrack replaces the BrewPi-It does expand the possibilities for actors by adding the ESP8266, which is a good thing. Lastly, hold your versions with sudo apt-mark hold. Retry installing the failed package installations. When you hit a dependency quandary, run sudo apt-get -f install and cross your fingers that it'll resolve the marked dependencies (I can't help any further but to say hunt down the package and install it manually also). There has to be a better way of doing this, dpkg does not resolve dependencies automatically.

I have had the problem of fetching mysql-5.6 for my developers' workstations (which run a more recent distro that no longer has the version I need).
